Welcome to the Comparative and International Law Journal of Southern Africa - CILSA
113 issues (1968 - 2007)
The Institue of Foreign and Comparative Law (IFCOL) initiated the publication of 'The Comparative and International Law Journal of Southern Africa' (CILSA) in 1968 with a view to stimulating research into the comparative and international aspects of law amongst Southern African researchers.
CILSA's contributors regularly include leading academics from Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe along with scholars from as far afield as Papua New Guinea, Tasmania, Australia and universities in Europe and North America. The journal is published three times a year (March, July, November). An important regular feature in each issue of CILSA is the review of current legal developments in Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
This is the only internationally available, regular update of legal developments in these countries. CILSA is a peer-reviewed academic publication and is the recognized South African law journal with a wide international circulation.
