The South African Journal of Economic and Management Sciences is a publication of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, University of Pretoria, which appears three times a year.

SAJEMS publishes theoretical and empirical articles in the following disciplines and subject areas: economics, marketing and communication management, human resource management, business management, accounting and financial management, public mangement and administration, and tourism management.

The mission of SAJEMS is to publish and disseminate scieintific knowledge and the editors invite contributions from any academic school of thought, while not accepting responsibility for the views expressed by the authors. First published in 1988.
